Fort Worth's State of the City

If we hold on to our spirit of unity, Fort Worth will continue to set an example for communities across Texas — and the nation.

Jeff, Stine and Tom attending the State of the City address in Fort Worth

Last week, we attended the State of the City address at Dickies Arena and left inspired by the optimism and confidence in Fort Worth’s future. Our city is clearly well-positioned for continued growth and greatness.

I was also struck by a recent Fort Worth, Inc. article by Councilman Michael Crain, titled “Let Fort Worth Be the Example of What America Needs Most: Unity and Civility.” His message was a powerful reminder that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.

If we hold on to our spirit of unity, Fort Worth will continue to set an example for communities across Texas — and the nation.
