Real Estate Closings Require More Than Just a Contract

In Part 2 of this Series, once a real estate transaction is underway, several legal documents may be required to complete the closing.

Our firm prepares the documents necessary to properly transfer ownership, including:
• Warranty Deeds – the document that transfers title to the buyer
• Promissory Notes – outlining repayment terms when seller financing is involved
• Deeds of Trust – allowing the seller to foreclose if the buyer defaults
• Additional documents specific to the transaction
Preparing these documents correctly is essential to ensure the transaction is properly structured and legally protected.
If you have questions about documentation for your transaction, feel free to contact Jeff Rattikin at rattikin@rattikinlaw.com
